We went to Tulsa, Oklahoma this weekend to celebrate Rick's grandma's (Mama Winnie)90th birthday. We got to see Rick's mom and most of Rick's family was able to attend and that is a lot of people. Finn was able to meet all of his second cousins and loved playing with them. Finn fell in love with all of the cats on the property and begged for me to let him take a kitten home. If you know me at all, then you know what my answer was. Finn hated leaving but it was great seeing everyone!

Baby #2
Finn in his Big Brother t-shirt
In case you didn't know... we are officially announcing that we are going to have a second baby in early February. I will have an ultrasound on July 10th to get a better idea of the due date. So far this pregnancy has been completetly different from the oen with Finn- I felt great with him and now I am sick every day and exshausted all of teh time. Everyone keeps telling me that might mean it's a girl, but we will see! Finn is very excited to be a big brother and says he really wants a baby sister. Rick and I will be happy either way- we just want a healthy baby. So far Finn has been really opinionated on names and likes to talk about all of the help that he is going to give. I am sure that I will need it!

Vacation Bible School
What a week! We had Vacation Bible School this week at our church. I taught in the 3 year old classroom, so Finn was in my class. It was a lot of fun but a lot of work. There weer 28 three year olds and four teachers. They did crafts, played in a bounce house and in pools, and learned about God. The theme was Australia, the logo being a boomerang with the words "It all comes back to Jesus." Finn told Rick afterwards that if you throw Jesus in the air, he will come back to you. Finn found a girlfriend named Harper. They held hands pretty much all day every single day. If you look closely you can see Finn holding her hand in the class photos. It was a really good experience for Finn, and I know he will miss his new friends, especially Harper.
T-Ball
Finn started t-ball this past Monday, and his team is called the Hooks. There first game is June 20th. It is very entertaining to watch 15 three year olds try to play t-ball. There is a lot of running to the wrong base (Finn likes to run to third base after hitting the ball) and tagging themselves out. Finn likes going to bat but has a hard time concentrating while fielding. He prefers to play in the dirt, but I am sure he will keep getting better and better. His uniform is enormous on him and his shorts fall to the ground whenever he puts them on. He is very excited about playing t-ball and loves having his very own glove. Three of the kids from our church are on the same team. Go Hooks!
