Two months old

yes it's true, Sloane is already two months old. Time is flying by so quickly. We moved into our new house last week and things are crazy hectic and busy. We love our new house. It has so much more room than our old apartment and the backyard opens up to the community park. Finn is loving it. Sloane will finally have her own room- not that she will use it anytime soon.
Sloane's personality is really starting to come through. When she is not crying to eat more (more about that later), she is smiling, cooing,or doing her little happy screech. Sloane makes this funny noise that sounds almost like a parrot or baby pterodactyl. She does it all the time- it is so funny. It's definitely a happy noise and it is sooooo loud. It cracks us up every time. I think she is going to be a singer.
Sloane had her two month appointment and she is a very big and healthy baby. She is in the 95th percentile for her weight, 90th for her head, and 85th for her height. Future volleyball player! She is a big eater and will cry to eat a lot.

Finn is doing well too. In the picture above, he is making little Earths to decorate the house for Earth Day. He said that he wants to give the Earth a birthday present, so he got a nightlight to use instead of falling asleep with all of his bedroom lights on.

Easter

We had a fun Easter this year. We decided to stay in Austin since we are so busy with the move. On Saturday we went to our church's Easter Egg Hunt that we go to every year. My friend Katie and her daughter ddison met us up there. There was an egg hunt, a petting zoo, bouncy houses, and face painting. The Easter Bunny was there and Finn went and gave him a big hug. Afterwards he told me "That wasn't the Easter Bunny. It was a person." He's growing up.

Sloane and Finn woke up Easter moring to their Easter baskets. Finn was really excited by all of his goodies. Sloane was indifferent. We then went to Tera's house to celebrate Easter and Jaxx's birthday. Then we had a hunt with real eggs out in the yard.

Sloane's first Easter went well, even though she was oblivious to it all. She looked adorable in her sweet little Easter dress, and she got a bunny rabbit hat that I still make her wear even if we are just sitting around the house.
