Last week was another busy week for Finn. We went to San Antonio to visit my friend Andrea and her son Aidan. Our plan was to go to the Zoo there, but it was pouring down rain. So, we went to a cute little place called Mini-town. It has a mini town (hence the name) for little kids to play in. It had a mini dance club(that Finn and Aidan shook their tail feathers in), a mini grocery store, a mini movie theatre, and a mini beauty shop. Interestingly enough, the mini beauty parlour was probably their favorite attraction. They each sat at their own vanity and put in plastic curlers in their hair and pretended to put on make-up. Needless to say, Rick is now anti-Mini-town. Andrea's husband Allan agreed to watch the boys that night so that we could hit the town. It was their first sleepover- and they fell asleep in the same bed.
The next day we went to Sea World. The boys went to the aquarium, and played in the waterpark. They did the lazy river and the wave pool. They had a great time and were worn out when they got back.
Other than that, we have been going to the pool non-stop. Finn has absolutely no fear of the water, and will jump in the deep end with no floaties on. No, he can't swim, he has to be fished out. Finn can go underwater for about 5 seconds at a time, and loves it. He really is a little fish.
